Happy Monday, darlings! I took a little break last week to refocus some of my energy. I have so many new beginnings in my life. I recently moved back to my hometown for a while. The house next door is number 111, so I took that as a good sign. There are many avenues open in front of me, so it’s hard to see where I’m going at the moment. I’m choosing to stay open and be guided. There’s a time to let go and a time to push. When it’s time, you’ll know exactly what to do to take action.
IV – The Emperor
The fourth tarot card in the major arcana is The Emperor. This card comes after The Empress, the divine feminine energy over creativity, self-care, and abundance. In most cases, the Emperor card’s artwork will feature a wise, strong leader on a throne. The Emperor reflects the masculine energy of hard work and abundance. They have worked hard for everything that they have. They lead those around them with wise actions. They ground themselves into reality and manage their responsibilities. They accept challenges with confident poise. You have both masculine and feminine energy. You can give and receive to make changes in your life.
When you pull this card in one of your readings, you could be taking charge of everything in front of you. You have balanced your masculine energy to the point where you are making headstrong decisions for yourself. You aren’t afraid of a challenge! Depending on the context, you may need to tap into this energy. Your confidence and willpower will increase the more you see your own power. This may take time to get used to. If you are in charge of others, use this power with wise authority. Consider the good of everyone before deciding on a path. If this is someone outside of yourself, they may be an authority/father figure or masculine energy in your life.
When this card appears reversed, it may be time to ease up. Are you pushing yourself or others too hard? Are your expectations too high? It’s great to have initiative, but don’t be cruel or harsh to other people. Respect is given when it’s earned. There may also be an opportunity for you to step into your power. If you aren’t the type to accept a challenge, take it one step at a time. When dealing with others, try not to let anyone else bully you into things you don’t want. Stand up for yourself.
