What do you think of when I say Capricorn? Traditional. Resourceful. Stubborn. Capricorn season runs from December 21st through January 19th. It is represented by the sea goat, ruled by Saturn. Saturn isn’t always butterflies and rainbows, but it can help you realize your full potential. An individual with their sun in Capricorn can come off as serious, competitive, and independent. Once you get past the hard exterior, they can be loyal, charismatic, and confident. As they tend to be responsible, a Capricorn can be an effective leader. These signs can be manipulative or pessimistic. It’s best to approach a Capricorn with honesty and patience.

Your sun sign might not describe you the best. I touched on this briefly in my previous post about Sagittarius. When three or more planets are under the same zodiac sign or house, it creates a stellium. This stellium may magnify certain traits and themes in your life more than others. A stellium has the potential to outshine traits from your sun sign. Since I have a Capricorn Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, this is the reason some Sagittarius qualities feel foreign to me. My Capricorn Mercury brings out my high standards. I appreciate clear, concise communication between myself and others. My Capricorn Saturn keeps me driven to learn. I’m not satisfied with coasting through life or things feeling too easy. My learning potential is heightened when I am trying new things. My Capricorn Uranus brings out my desire to plan things; even foresee events unfolding. If I have a moment to think of a way to strategize, I’m probably making a list. My Capricorn Neptune keeps me in a creative mindset toward my goals. It comes across as a practical solution or advice.
My stellium is in the seventh house of committed relationships. Even though I lean towards being a hopeless romantic, this stellium grounds me. When I was dating, I didn’t like to rush into a relationship with just anyone. I preferred to get to know a person on a deep level. As my Saturn is included in this stellium, relationships have been a core of my life lessons. In retrospect, I’ve learned more about people, in general, through talking and dating.
If you have a Capricorn moon, you may process your emotions through a practical lens. You may be critical or strict with yourself. You prefer to be in control of your inner world. You’re going to ensure that you can rely on yourself first. You may be good at helping others process emotions in some cases.
If you have a Capricorn rising, people view you as goal-oriented. You may have an assertive demeanor, focused on self and security. You may keep your moves to yourself. You tend to be reliable and practical but can also have perfectionist tendencies.
